A warm welcome
The club is always open to new members, who are assured of a warm welcome. And, if you are new to bowls and would like to "try before you buy", read about our free taster sessions and tuition for novices, below. The membership year starts on 1st March, and the green opens on Friday 17th March. People who have already decided they wish to join the club should complete an application form (see below) and follow its instructions, or contact the club secretary using the contact button on this site.
Free taster sessions
Each Spring, the club offers free taster sessions for anyone who wants to try their hand at crown green bowling. Those who choose to progress further after their session can pay £15 for four coaching sessions. The £15 is deducted from the joining fee for new members. In 2022 the taster sessions were well attended, and resulted in 20 new members for the club.
